Today I’m on the road to North Carolina, the Shenandoah Valley, and Washington DC for a much needed family vacation. I’m looking forward to fall leaves, cold weather, classic movie watching, and not working. It’s going to be so nice! I’ll try to blog while I’m away, but I can’t promise anything. I won’t be back until November 17th, so if you call or email, I won’t be able to get back with you until then. Please be patient!
I also want to post some photos from the 2nd Annual Howl’n Halloween Canine Costume Parade. It was a great event! Tons of dogs came out to participate in the contest and show off their best Halloween costumes. I had a lot of fun meeting and photographing the dogs and their owners, and want to share a few of my favorite images with you. Enjoy!

Recognize the cute little pumpkin? It’s Sadie!
The cute little Yorkie is Daisy Mae, who I met and photographed at our mini sessions in July. She is so cute!
There were six Maltese in this motorcycle, popping up and down and all around. I couldn’t keep track of all of them!
